I've been in blinkie/stamp hell (or heaven, depending on how you look at it). I'm quite enjoying myself, thinking of ideas and finding ones to put on this site. It's gotten so bad that I feel I may have to take a break from working on my site because I've been doing this instead of schoolwork. I have so many random screenshots, video clips, and gifs saved on my computer now.
Anyway, I also created a Sanders Sides shrine which I am absolutely obsessed with. I'm not super in that fandom anymore (although my brain occasionally gives me fanfic ideas), but I had ideas for a shrine, and I couldn't help myself.
I think I may have to physically restrain myself from doing anything more on this website until after all my assignments are handed in. Only a couple things to do before I get a short break where I can reward myself with doing whatever I want.
I haven't had much time for coding for pleasure these days. The end of the semester is rapidly approaching, and I have so many assignments due. My procrastination is really kicking into high gear (which is why I'm here decidedly not doing work), but hopefully this coming week I'm productive.
I recently started watching some anime, which I've never really done before. Although, some family friends years ago introducted my sister and I to the show Glitter Force that was on Netflix. But, that was an outlier, and I never watched any anime after that until now.
Currently, whenever I see clips of shows on TikTok (which is also how I know nearly the entire plot of Young Sheldon without having watched a full episode) that I think are interesting, I add it to a list on my notes app. I also have a Letterboxd for when I see clips of movies that I'd like to watch at some point in time.
Anyway, I've ended up binging multiple 12/13 episode shows, along with one two-season anime. I've stopped myself now, though, so I won't get too distracted. I've seen clips of The Apothecary Diaries which I do plan to watch at some point, but it will likely be around the middle of April.
Hello!
I've decided to make a blog! I couldn't fall asleep last night because I was too busy thinking of website ideas.
Last evening, I was busy doing some coding homework for my class, and I couldn't get this certain thing working. I spent hours trying to fix it. I gave up around midnigh but, while brushing my teeth, I thought of the solution. And it worked. All that time spent trying to fix an issue, and all it took was me quitting to find the solution.
In any case, I'm exited for this! I tried to create a Neocities website before, but I didn't know enough about coding to do it well. This time, I feel as though I have a better understanding of how things work. Hence this website layout is of my own creation--not just copying someone else's code and changing the colours.
I had a lot of the elements to make a website already created from different projects. I made the sunflower logo at the top of the site years ago for a *cough* *cough* currently unlisted Youtube channel I tried to start.
And this font is my own writing that I created even earlier for a project I don't exactly remember. Either way, it's been sitting on my computer for ages, collecting dust.
Like many of my projects, who knows if this will be kept up with and, like usual, I'm coding this website while procrastinating working on schoolwork (a group project). I am really excited for this site, so I really would like to update it regularly with new pages, or at least the occasional blog post.
